Earlier this year, The Firearm Blog has featured Cross Armory’s assistance to gun owners for workarounds within California laws.
“Cross Armory SAFE MAG and QUICK PINS were designed to allow owners of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR) in restrictive states to more efficiently perform reloads with their rifles in the post-bullet button era,” the review reads. “SAFE MAG that is designed to release the magazine when the upper receiver is pivoted on the front takedown pin. QUICK PINS, replaces the rear takedown pin with a quick release assembly that aids in the separation of the upper and lower receivers of an AR. Together they allowed California MSR owners to convert their rifles without sacrificing performance and ease-of-use.”
Now, Cross Armory has introduced SAFE MAG 2 (for non-mil-spec AR-15’s) and SAFE MAG .308, QUICK PINS .308 and PIN PAL .308 to accommodate those with AR-10/308 rifles.
SAFE MAG .308 and SAFE MAG 2 are modifications, designed in California, for weapons in regulated states that require fixed magazines.
They are intended to be consistent with the fixed magazine laws which state that your weapon must have a “fixed magazine,” defined in California as “an ammunition feeding device contained in, or permanently attached to, a firearm in such a manner that the device can not be removed without disassembly of the firearm action.” Now AR-10/308 owners can enjoy the same fast, fun & efficient experience that they do on their Cross Armory equipped AR-15.
All of Cross Armory’s SAFE MAG and QUICK PINS products are machined from 7075 T-6 Aircraft Aluminum for high strength, light weight and durability.
Cross Armory QUICK PINS, SAFE MAG, PIN PAL and STOCK LOCK are available at more than 200 gun stores across the state. Ask your local retailer for the best California solution to keep you AR-15 and AR10/308 off the “assault weapon” registration list.
