Meet Christian, @threat.level.midnite:
”For my background, I’m a Marine Corps veteran and currently a police officer assigned to a gang task force.
@threat.level.midnite
I’ve been shooting my whole life but shooting 3-gun matches for the last 5 years.
My favorite Cross Armory upgrades so far has been the Flat faced 3.5 lb drop in trigger on my Gen 5 Glock 34. It made the gun so much more pleasant to shoot and added a great trigger reset. Also I’m torn between the Shadow Red Dot being my favorite. I’ve used it on so many guns so far and I’ve loved it on all of them. In the video I’m sending, I run it on the Glock 34 and my Benelli M4, but I also loved running it on my M1A
What I like most about the shooting community is the camaraderie, especially shooting matches at local ranges. You get to meet such a wide variety of people who all come together to train and have a good time. It’s always humbling as a veteran/police officer to see how much more talented civilian shooters can be than the majority of officers I work with.
For people new to firearms I recommend a lot of dry firing and learning how to manipulate the gun at home, then go shoot a match. Whether it's a pistol, rifle, or 3 gun, matches will push you and help you perform at a much higher level
