Cross Armory’s AR FIXED MAG is a modification to the company’s extremely popular SAFE MAG. Designed in California for weapons in heavily regulated states that require fixed magazines, such as New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, AR FIXED MAG will not release the magazine once installed.  For owners of AR-15s and AR-10s who have decided to top-load their magazines, the AR FIXED MAG, when paired with Cross Armory QUICK PINS, provides the most convenient reloading system on the market.
Cross Armory’s AR FIXED MAG is consistent with the fixed magazine laws that state that the magazine may not be removed from your weapon in order to reload. It cannot be removed from the weapon without the use of a drill or other power tools.

This is not a bad review on the product itself but more an informational review for others based on my experience. The product itself is beautifully made and should work for most lowers out there. I have this on a Stag 15, no problem. I purchased this for the Radian Weapons A-DAC Lower on the Model 1 and it does not work for that. Actually, the only solution that I found to be NYS compliant for the Radian A-DAC is the CompMag.
